Let’s Talk Reference Books!

Not all books are alike.  Sometimes you have to check “between the covers.”  Reference books are “special” because there are so many different kinds of them.  Some are dictionaries while others might be encyclopedias, atlases, manuals, handbooks, directories, yearbooks, indexes, biographies, bibliographies, almanacs, or collections of quotations.  They can answer questions by providing facts, statistics, definitions, explanations, or background information.
